Organized in a hybrid format and in English, the Horizon Europe Forum is a strategic event focused on innovation and European cooperation, as part of the European TwIn Solar project. The forum will bring together representatives from the European Commission, Horizon Europe project experts, and local stakeholders committed to the energy transition. Réunion Island will be highlighted as a territory of innovation, resilience, and cooperation.

What solutions for a flexible energy system in La Réunion? | 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM
The development of intermittent renewable energies presents major challenges for managing the power grid and energy system. We invite you to two half-day sessions, in a hybrid format, in English (with translation) and French, to explore – alongside experts from the MAESHA project – practical levers for energy flexibility in Réunion, based on five years of experience from the project in Mayotte.
With the participation of Ben Wafique Omar, Energy Transition Project Manager and MAESHA Project Lead at Electricité de Mayotte.
